What They're Looking For.
Must Have
recent, hands-on experience managing performance marketing campaigns, managed campaigns across more than one performance platform, such as Meta, Google, Apple Search Ads, TikTok, Reddit or Programmatic, mobile-first acquisition experience, understand the difference between web and app-based customer journeys, confident working with data, understand mobile attribution and measurement, commercially minded, comfortable optimising towards CAC, LTV and growth targets, understand how creative performance influences acquisition, enjoy testing messaging, formats and customer angles, able to communicate performance trends clearly, translating data into actionable insights, effectively highlighting risks and opportunities to senior stakeholders, organised, proactive, comfortable working in a fast-moving environment
Nice to Have
Experience in fintech, banking, regulated industries or app-first consumer products, Experience scaling subscription-based or mobile-first products, Experience managing agencies or external media partners, Knowledge of incrementality testing, attribution modelling or App Store Optimisation, Experience with landing page optimisation or experimentation tools, Experience managing influencer performance campaigns across YouTube, TikTok or Meta, Experience using AI tools to improve operational efficiency or campaign workflows
What You'll Do.
Shape how we invest across digital acquisition channels
audiences and creative strategies
Play a hands-on role in delivering Zopa’s performance marketing strategy across channels including Meta
Programmatic and emerging platforms
Own the day-to-day running of campaigns
from optimisation and pacing through to forecasting and performance reporting
Experiment with new creative approaches
messaging and audience strategies
Help drive customer growth while balancing CAC
payback and wider commercial goals
with an immediate focus on scaling Current Account acquisition
Dive into performance data on a daily basis using tools such as Excel
Firebase and Tableau to uncover insights
spot trends and identify opportunities for further growth
Support the growth of a significant and rapidly scaling marketing budget
currently around £1m per quarter
Contribute to building the future of Performance Marketing at Zopa
helping define the structure
tooling and ways of working as the function continues to grow and evolve
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Work closely with teams across Product, Analytics, Finance, Creative and Brand, ensuring acquisition activity aligns with broader business priorities and customer goals; Build relationships with agency and external partners, helping maintain a high bar for execution, accountability and commercial impact
Communication Scope
communicate performance trends clearly; translating data into actionable insights; highlighting risks and opportunities to senior stakeholders
