THE ROLE As our first People hire in Mexico, you will be the architect of the employee experience for our growing team in Mexico City. You’ll be the bridge between our global standards and local Mexican requirements, ensuring we remain compliant while building a world-class culture. This is a "player-coach" role: you will handle the granular details of local payroll/benefits via our EOR and support TA efforts, while also advising leadership on how to scale from 1 to 50+ employees in 2026. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING: - Entity Launch & EOR Management: Manage the day-to-day relationship with our EOR provider. Lead the eventual transition from EOR to a local Checkout.com http://Checkout.com entity, ensuring all registrations and local requirements are met. - Compliance & Labor Law: Serve as the subject matter expert on the Federal Labor Law (Ley Federal del Trabajo). Ensure all contracts, internal work regulations (Reglamento Interior de Trabajo), and health and safety requirements (NOM-035) are strictly followed.
