This role ensures accuracy, compliance, and timely payroll delivery while supporting payroll projects, system enhancements, and process improvements. Partners closely with HR, Finance, and external vendors. **Key Responsibilities** * Process Canadian payroll for employees across multiple provinces * Audit payroll data and resolve discrepancies * Administer hires, terminations, ROEs, leaves, and payroll adjustments * Ensure compliance with CRA and provincial legislation * Manage statutory remittances (CPP, EI, income tax) * Prepare year‑end filings (T4, T4A, RL‑1) * Reconcile payroll to the general ledger * Respond to employee payroll inquiries * Partner with HR, Finance, and third‑party vendors **Project & Process Responsibilities** * Lead payroll‑related projects (system updates, configuration changes, new process rollouts) * Support Workday, ADP Workforce Now, or ADP Workforce Manager enhancements and testing * Maintain payroll documentation, SOPs, and process maps * Identify and implement process improvements * Support internal and external audits * Assist with new policy, program, or regulatory implementations **Basic Qualifications** * 10+ years Canadian payroll experience * PCP certification required * Strong knowledge of CRA and provincial payroll legislation * Experience with Workday
