Reporting to the Group Payroll Manager, the Senior Payroll Officer is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of contractor payroll across multiple Australian states and New Zealand. This role manages high-volume payroll operations and supports the processing of both contractor and permanent recruitment invoicing. Key Responsibilities Payroll Processing & Administration * Manage end-to-end processing of Weekly and Fortnightly contractor payrolls in a high-volume environment. * Calculate and process ad hoc payments, including contractor bonuses and backpay adjustments. * Maintain and update payroll records, including superannuation, taxation, banking details, salary sacrifice- devices, and novated lease deductions. * Perform detailed payroll validation checks to identify discrepancies. * Ensure ongoing reconciliation of payroll data to maintain compliance and accuracy. Reporting & Compliance * Prepare and perform weekly/fortnightly electronic funds transfers (EFT) and check runs. * Ensure all vendor discounts are captured, and payments are made within credit terms. * Manage employee expense reimbursements and corporate credit card reconciliations. * Reconciliations & Reporting * Reconcile vendor statements monthly to en
