Must Have

Associate's Degree or equivalent business classes/experience, 12-18 months' work experience in healthcare, Experience with scheduling and/or patient financial related job duties, Computer experience with high accuracy level of data entry, Excellent telephone and customer service skills, Outstanding organizational, interpersonal, communication, and overall customer service skills, Ability to perform in a high paced environment with a positive attitude, Interact with professional staff in an appropriate manner

Nice to Have

Bachelor's Degree in a health-related field, Working knowledge of ICD-10-CM and CPT coding classification systems, Knowledge of medical terminology and clinical rehabilitation

What You'll Do.

Provide information and respond to needs

Collect and analyze demographic

Pre-register and register patients

Coordinate and schedule patient appointments

Manage calls from insurance/care managers

Coordinate multi discipline care

Collect expected charge for service

Complete timely posting of cash collections

Accept and generate receipts for monies and credit

Provide financial guidance for self-pay balance resolution

or face-to-face inquiries

Handle escalated issues and inquiries

Provide training support for new PSR orientation

Observe and provide back up support to new

Provide EMR training to employees

Provide coverage for new off-site locations

Travel to offsite locations to train

Assist in implementation of new processes/protocols

Follow up to verify accuracy

Participate with internal and external departments in projects

Attend and contribute to meetings

Maintain knowledge of revenue cycle process

Maintain knowledge of practice management software

Perform other appropriate activities as directed

Provide clerical/therapist support as delegated
