Join a high-performance development team delivering web applications to millions of users monthly in the fintech and media space. We value innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence. We are a remote workforce that uses Slack, Zoom, Jira, and agile development practices to keep in sync. What would you do in this role? As a Senior Software Developer, you’ll be working on a fast paced team responsible for the code that powers our ultimate goal of helping people invest and be smarter, happier and richer. Successful Fools have well-formed opinions (stemming from their broad experience) and the ability to jump right into code independently. But what does this role actually do? Develop and maintain web applications using a variety of technologies, including but not limited to React, Next.js, TypeScript, TailwindCSS and occasionally Python. Collaborate with other team members on best practices for efficient and sustainable engineering, focusing on achieving a balance between aesthetics, scalability, and performance. Provide and receive technical feedback through pair programming and code reviews. Collaborate closely with design, product, and leadership teams to anticipate future needs and align our technology roadmap with long-term goals.
