What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Over 7 years of hands-on experience in enterprise LAN engineering and operations, Minimum CCNP Enterprise certification (or an equivalent advanced certification), expertise in routing and switching technologies, including VLANs, STP, HSRP/VRRP, OSPF, and campus network design, Advanced knowledge of enterprise switching platforms such as Cisco Catalyst, Aruba CX, Juniper EX, or similar technologies, expertise in firewall management (Palo Alto), including rule creation, maintenance, and traffic flow monitoring, Experience using Splunk for monitoring, log analysis, and troubleshooting, Hands-on experience with network monitoring tools for device health, availability, and performance management, understanding of 802.1X, NAC, and access control technologies (Cisco ISE, ClearPass, or similar), Experience with incident management, root cause analysis, and major outage resolution, Proven experience mentoring engineers, leading projects, and serving as a senior escalation point
Nice to Have
Experience with network automation using Python or Ansible is preferred
