Job Title: Senior Network Engineer Corporate Title: Vice President Purpose of the role Pico is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join our Network Engineering team. In this role, you will design, deploy, and troubleshoot large-scale service provider network infrastructure, including escalated issues. You will work closely with internal and external clients, operations and systems teams, financial exchanges, and fellow Network Engineers to design and automate solutions, research and develop improvements, resolve system issues, and support business analysis. Responsibilities and duties (includes but not limited to): Translate business requirements into architecture Convert availability, performance, and regulatory needs into technical designs Create HLDs depicting Logical Architecture and Traffic flow Define design principles with focus on scalability, resilience, simplicity and standardization Strategize on methods to improve overall network infrastructure with a low-latency profile Design and deploy customer networks with automation, security, and operability as focus Evaluate vendors, platforms, and protocols for long-term fit Support internal and external customer facing issues as a point of escalation Generate, Follow Up, and Complete tickets for internal projects and customers Construct valid configurations for implementation based upon design and/or technical concepts Implement critical configuration changes as required through established change control process
