Full Job Description
Your challenge As a Platform Network Engineer, you are the go-to expert for cloud network architecture. You design, implement, and manage complex network environments in Microsoft Azure for our clients. In close collaboration with platform architects, security engineers, and platform engineers, you deliver robust, scalable, and secure customer environments. You are responsible for: Designing and implementing Azure networks: VNets, vWAN, and Azure DNS. Managing the Azure Firewall, NSGs, Application Gateway, TLS, policy, and other security features. Using Terraform, Bicep, and CI/CD systems to automate implementation. Implementing network observability using Azure stack and Elastic. Collaborating with security teams to implement Zero Trust network principles. Producing technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and runbooks. Coaching junior engineers and acting as the technical point of contact for clients. Proactively improving existing network infrastructures and advising on best practices. Your team You’ll be part of the Technical Services team. Technical Services equips our teams with the necessary technology, applications, and technical framework for them to do their jobs effectively and securely. Your profile Essential talents and qualifications: A Bachelor’s in ICT or similar by experience. At least 4 years of relevant hands-on experience in an Azure networking environment. A team player mentality combined with the capacity to work autonomously. Experience with Azure Virtual WAN and/or hub-spoke architectures and cross-tenant connectivity along with strong understanding of key internet protocols, routing, and security. Microsoft Certified: Including but not limited to Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) and Azure Network Engineer Associate (AZ-700). Bonus points if you have: Azure Security Engineer (AZ-500) or other security-related certifications. Proficiency with Windows operating systems and networks.
