### **Senior Network Engineer (Wireless / Aruba / ISP Infrastructure) – Remote | EST Hours** **Position Type:** Full-Time | Independent Contractor **Working Hours:** U.S. Business Hours (EST) ### **About the Role** At Pavago, one of our clients is hiring a **Senior Network Engineer** to support and optimize wireless and network infrastructure in a fast-moving technical environment. This role is focused on: * Enterprise wireless networking * Routing & switching * ISP/WISP-style infrastructure * Troubleshooting & performance optimization You’ll work on real-world deployments, network reliability, and infrastructure improvement — not just basic helpdesk tickets. If you enjoy solving complex network problems and working hands-on with wireless infrastructure, this role is a strong fit. ### **What You’ll Own** ### **Wireless Networking (Core Focus)** * Support and deploy enterprise wireless solutions: * Aruba _(preferred)_ * Cisco * Ubiquiti * Similar platforms * Configure and troubleshoot: * Access points * Wireless controllers * Cloud-managed systems * Optimize: * Coverage * Performance * Reliability * Support wireless troubleshooting and RF-related issues ### **Network Infrastructure & Routing** * Configure and troubleshoot: * Routing * Switching * VLANs * Segmentation * Work with: * TCP/IP * OSPF * BGP * Support network stability and uptime across environments ### **ISP / WISP Infrastructure (Strong Plus)** * Work within ISP/WISP-style environments * Support: * Point-to-Point (PTP) links * Point-to-Multipoint (PTMP) wireless systems * Assist with: * Network monitoring * Uptime management * Connectivity troubleshooting ### **CLI Configuration & Troubleshooting** * Work with CLI-based configurations across network devices * Diagnose: * Connectivity issues * Packet loss * Performance bottlenecks * Outages * Use monitoring and packet analysis tools to identify root causes ### **What Makes You a Strong Fit** * You are hands-on and comfortable troubleshooting live environme
