Must Have

10+ years of experience with F5 technologies including BIG-IP modules such as LTM, GTM/DNS, 10+ years of experience with F5 iRules, 10+ years of experience with designing and implementing large scale F5 Architectures, 10+ years experience with Quality of Service (QOS), routing and switching protocols, 5+ years of experience with network monitoring and diagnostic tools (Wireshark, SolarWinds, NetFlow)

Nice to Have

F5 certifications such as F5 Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) or F5 Certified Solutions Expert (CSE), Knowledge of cloud-based F5 solutions such as F5 Cloud Edition or F5 Distributed Cloud Services, Experience with monitoring tools like Splunk, Experience with network automation tools and scripting languages (python, Ansible), Experience with problem-solving skills and ability to address complex network issues quickly and efficiently, Experience with communication skills and collaboration with cross functional teams, 5+ years of experience with Incident Management, 5+ years of experience with ServiceNow

Global Traffic Manager/DNS)

Architect Global Server Load Balancing (GSLB) and Local Server Load Balancing (LSLB)

manage SSL/TLS offloading

and configure Web Application Firewalls (WAF/ASM)

Develop F5 iRules for traffic customization and use APIs or Ansible for automation

Proactively monitor system health

resolving issues to ensure high availability

Work with network and security teams to integrate F5 solutions into cloud or on-premise infrastructure

Develop and maintain comprehensive network documentation

including network topology diagrams

configuration guides and capacity planning documents

Provide training and knowledge transfer to junior designers

Assist in incident resolution

root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions to prevent recurrence

Automate F5 tasks using API

Ansible and ServiceNow
