Full Job Description

ID Quantique (IDQ) as part of IONQ, is a global leader in quantum-safe communications and quantum detection systems. We provide solutions to protect governments, telecommunication infrastructures, and banking ensure compatibility with centralized orchestration services and their end-to-end management workflows. Integrate telemetry and eventing (OpenTelemetry Collector, SignalR, MQTT) with robust backpressure and offline-buffering strategies. Support multiple management paths (local console, SSH, remote API) with strict authentication/authorization and auditable actions. Optimize embedded constraints: low memory/CPU, secure update, deterministic startup/recovery, and safe rollback. Collaborate with hardware/firmware and crypto teams to expose device capabilities via stable contracts. What you'll bring 8+ years in .NET backend with experience on edge/embedded Linux services or appliance-style products. Strong security (TLS/mTLS, cert pinning, secure storage) and defense-in-depth mindset. You'll be a great fit with Experience with serial/SSH tooling, constrained networks, update pipelines, and observability on the edge. Exposure to SDN concepts and network management standards (for example: NETCONF/YANG) is a plus. Knowledge of quantum networking and device-management interfaces is desirable.
