What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution, Licensed Alberta Professional Engineer (P. Eng. ), Minimum of 10 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on civil municipal & utility design, Experience in developing and maintaining project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation, Experience in attending and representing the civil design team in project meetings, workshops, and presentations, Proven track record of successfully managing civil design components of large-scale infrastructure projects, from conception through to completion, understanding of municipal design and construction standards and guidelines in Alberta, construction specifications and regulations, Thorough understanding of the importance of health and safety, Valid Driver’s License is required

Project management experience would be an asset, Familiarity with municipal and provincial clients and approving agencies
What You'll Do.
Leading and managing delivery of civil & utility from conception to detailed design
and construction stages
Overseeing all civil engineering aspects of the project

Develop detailed civil and utilities engineering designs

### **Job Description** ## **Overview** As a key member of our Municipal Infrastructure Group in the Engineering, Design and Project Management Division for western Canada, you will thrive in a dynamic, team-oriented environment. As a Senior Municipal Engineer, you will be leading and managing delivery of civil & utility from conception to detailed design, and construction stages. The Civil Design Engineer for the municipal & utility projects is responsible for overseeing all civil engineering aspects of the project, ensuring that design deliverables meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and functionality. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and leadership to successfully deliver the civil design components within the specified timeframe and budget. The Senior Civil Design Engineer will work closely with other discipline leads, clients, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction. Our Municipal infrastructure team is looking for a dedicated Senior Municipal Engineer to join our growing team. ## **Your role** _To perform this role successfully, the individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following:_ * Develop detailed civil and utilities engineering designs, drawings and analysis for the civil infrastructure from preliminary concepts, specifications, bid documents, engineering directives, and other data, according to client specifications for the projects in collaboration with multi-discipline teams, construction staff and clients. * Prepare calculations, Plans, profiles and cross-sections, presentations for the contract packages in collaboration with multi-discipline teams, construction staff and clients. * Manage the design packages delivery ensuring QA/QC, and compliance while following project budgets and timelines. * Complete civil & utilities designs within a team consisting of engineers, engineering interns and CAD technicians in the planning, execution, and management of civil, propert
