About Us: Partrac are one of Europe’s leading metocean providers for the offshore renewables and other coastal and marine industries. We are particularly well known for delivering high quality metocean monitoring campaigns to the growing offshore wind industry across Europe, including the rapidly expanding floating wind sector. Our work combines practical offshore operations with technical excellence, delivering robust metocean monitoring campaigns and trusted data to clients operating in challenging marine environments. We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Metocean Engineer to join our survey team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a leading role in offshore metocean operations within a company that values quality, continual improvement, teamwork and openness. At Partrac we are proud to be a formative member company of the Venterra Group, a global offshore wind energy services business. The Role This role is suited to an experienced offshore metocean professional who is comfortable leading mobilisation and servicing campaigns across a wide range of coastal and offshore environments. The role will involve offshore travel predominantly in the UK and Europe, but also further afield as we expand globally. Leading as party chief on project mobilisation and servicing of the range of metocean equipment including seabed moorings, wave buoys, our own floating LIDAR systems (V-LiDAR), in addition to fixed installations such as wave radars, tide gauges and met stations. Leading and coaching metocean engineers to deliver safe, technically robust and successful site operations. Experienced in the practical delivery of technical projects, including equipment knowledge, and experience of the deployment of metocean instrumentation in coastal and offshore locations.
