Must Have
5+ years of experience within Merchandise Planning, The ability to read, analyze and react to business results, understanding how decisions impact those results, The ability to clearly and influentially articulate point of view to both peers and upper management by showcasing written, verbal and graphical presentation skills, A self-start attitude and can manage self-productivity as well as the ability to manage up to maximize your contribution and job satisfaction / enjoyment, Proficiency to use financial metrics to measure the performance of the business, The ability and willingness to quickly develop tool and system proficiency
What You'll Do.
management and execution of end to end sales
and merchandise planning strategies
Maximize sales and gross margin while optimizing inventory levels through rigorous hind-sighting
Identify risks and opportunities at a monthly and quarterly level
Influence cross functional partners using powerfully synthesized and articulated analysis
Development of pre-season category financial targets
communicate financial targets vs. bottom up roll across Open-To-Buy
Investment Review and Hindsight process
monthly and quarterly sales and inventory performance versus plan and projections
Identify and communicate business opportunities and risks
Recommend how to react from an investment or in-season management perspective
Partner with Production and Logistics teams to communicate replenishment and initial order needs and timelines
run and publish reporting to the cross functional team
Develop and evolve planning tools
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Collaborate with the Merchandising Team; Partner closely with the Production Team; Report to the Women’s Footwear Merchandise Planning Manager; Influence cross functional partners; Communicate financial targets vs. bottom up roll across Open-To-Buy, Investment Review and Hindsight process for your functional area to the cross functional team; Communicate replenishment and initial order needs and timelines; Reporting to the cross functional team as the one version of the truth; Develop and evolve planning tools with head of merchandise planning and merchandising cross-functional partners
Communication Scope
Clearly and influentially articulate point of view to both peers and upper management by showcasing written, verbal and graphical presentation skills
