If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary. ## ## Job Summary To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a **Senior Mechanical Test Development Engineer** located onsite in **Austin, TX** **What a typical day looks like:** * Design and develop test mechanisms for printed circuit board assemblies and High Level Assemblies. * Develop full turnkey Automated Test Equipment mechanical solutions using manual, semi-automated and automated mechanical techniques are required by the customer. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design engineers, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure product compliance with specifications and standards. * Create a complete CAD package for testers including Assembly Drawings as required. * Interface with vendors and machine shops to fabricate mechanical components. * Create mechanical Bills of Material for designed equipment. * Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in testing technologies and manufacturing techniques. * Work with CNC router to produce mechanical components. * Research techniques for robust mechanical / electrical interfaces to a variety of connection types. * Interface with customers to resolve issues related to product. * Occasionally design / layout custom fixture interface boards. * Work with electrical engineers on overall test strategy. **The experience we’re looking to add to our team:** * Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; Master’s de
