Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, experience designing electromechanical fixtures, experience designing mechanical mechanisms, PCBA or high level assembly fixturing experience, 8+ years of experience in mechanical testing, 8+ years of experience in product development, Solid Works creating both 2D and 3D designs

Nice to Have

Master's degree, Experience with Auto CAD software, Experience with simulation tools, CNC setup and operation knowledge, Experience with PCBA layout software

If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary. ## ## Job Summary To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a **Senior Mechanical Test Development Engineer** located onsite in **Austin, TX** **What a typical day looks like:** * Design and develop test mechanisms for printed circuit board assemblies and High Level Assemblies. * Develop full turnkey Automated Test Equipment mechanical solutions using manual, semi-automated and automated mechanical techniques are required by the customer. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design engineers, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure product compliance with specifications and standards. * Create a complete CAD package for testers including Assembly Drawings as required. * Interface with vendors and machine shops to fabricate mechanical components. * Create mechanical Bills of Material for designed equipment. * Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in testing technologies and manufacturing techniques. * Work with CNC router to produce mechanical components. * Research techniques for robust mechanical / electrical interfaces to a variety of connection types. * Interface with customers to resolve issues related to product. * Occasionally design / layout custom fixture interface boards. * Work with electrical engineers on overall test strategy. **The experience we’re looking to add to our team:** * Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; Master’s de
