The ability to obtain and maintain a U. S. government issued security clearance is required, U. S. citizenship is required, DoD Clearance: Secret, Active and existing security clearance required after day 1, Occasional travel will be required to support supplier activities and collaborate with department/directorate peers, Candidates may be asked to attend select steps of the interview process in-person at one of our office locations, regardless of whether the role is designated as on-site, hybrid or remote.

Bachelors in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) Degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, Experience with detailed knowledge of one manufacturing process such as machining, casting, welding, forging, injection mold, etc., Experience with Design for Manufacturing and/or Assembly workshops, The ability to obtain and maintain a U. S. government issued security clearance is required

Nice to Have

Certified Design for Manufacturing & Assembly (DFMA) Lead, ASME Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing Professional Certification, Experience performing two or three-dimensional tolerance analyses, Exposure and or basic understanding of more than one of the following standard manufacturing processes such as: multi axis machining, sheet metal fabrication, casting, 3-D printing, welding, precision mechanical assembly, and mechanical inspection processes
