What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Associate's Degree in Engineering with seven years of Stress Analysis experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with five years of Stress Analysis experience OR Master's Degree in Engineering with three years of Stress Analysis experience OR JD/Ph. D., Understanding of Intellectual Property and Export Control requirements, Ability to obtain and hold a Security Clearance, US Citizenship
Nice to Have
A deep understanding of specialist subject and proven ability to influence key decisions, ANSYS experience, Gas Turbine experience
What You'll Do.
Provide expertise and leadership for stress and dynamics analysis
Support component design changes and verification
Lead the FLRAA Stress Team
and meeting of program requirements
Present analysis requirements
and results to customer
Mentor junior analysts
Serve as SLARP/DTARP auditor across programs
Advance structural analyst skillset
Support the development and execution of strategy
Lead the definition of capability projects
Lead the resolution of new and emerging technical
compliance and business problems
Access internal and external networks of fellow specialists
Provide technical direction to peers and more junior professionals
Ensure appropriate policies
standards and best practices are defined
Lead the sharing of Best practices
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Guiding methods, priorities, audit & oversight, and meeting of program requirements; Consulting with the wider program team on stress and dynamics related technical issues; Supporting the implementation of strategic collaborative relationships; Providing technical leadership to teams and projects within their specialism
Communication Scope
Present directly to customer, regarding analysis requirements, methods, and results; Represent the area as an authority in their defined field; Provide concise justification for records

Project Definition, Acquiring funding, Aligning partner support
