This is a full-time, in-person position. Key Responsibilities Estimate mechanical trades, including sheet metal, HVAC piping, plumbing, and associated systems. Prepare mechanical cost estimates from conceptual phase through final construction documents. Review and validate subcontractor proposal pricing and change orders. Develop value analysis by identifying cost-efficient alternatives to proposed scopes. Support meetings with owners, architects, and engineers regarding project cost phases. Lead mechanical cost efforts in core markets: Data Centers, Aviation, Higher Education, Corporate/Commercial Offices, and Laboratories. Perform material takeoff, input data into computerized cost models, and apply mechanical estimating manuals and guidelines. Prepare comparative cost analysis and explain variances to project stakeholders. Communicate with mechanical equipment vendors, design engineers, clients, and subcontractors. Manage, train, and mentor junior mechanical estimators. Represent Holder at coordination meetings and industry events, maintaining positive relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and clients. Provide internal communication among departments and project stakeholders.
