Eng) with eligible for registration with multiple provinces in Canada, 10+ years of relevant design experience, Significant exposure to National Defence projects, Experience in selection and specification of mechanical building system and related site utilities, Working knowledge of all applicable building codes and industry standards, Experience in a consulting engineering environment, Managing time, resources, and budget allocations, Client focus, Ability to obtain CISD Level II (SECRET) Clearance

Subject matter expertise in mechanical building systems including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, building automation and sustainable building initiatives, Project experience should include training centers, vehicle and fleet maintenance, research laboratories, operational headquarters, personnel accommodation and ancillary facilities, Infrastructure experience with Energy Centre’s, district energy distribution, piped site utilities for industrial liquid and gases, Taking initiatives for Business Development, Marketing, and responding to RFPs

### **Job Description** ## **Overview** Our Mechanical Engineering Group in Atlantic Canada is looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our growing team based in one of our available office locations in either Halifax, Ottawa, Toronto-GTA, Sudbury, Winnipeg, Calgary or Vancouver. In this role you will be responsible for the design and execution of projects with a focus on serving our National Defence Portfolio for upgrade and expansion of buildings and related base infrastructure across Canada. Subject matter expertise in mechanical building systems including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, building automation and sustainable building initiatives will set you apart. Project experience should include training centers, vehicle and fleet maintenance, research laboratories, operational headquarters, personnel accommodation and ancillary facilities. Infrastructure experience with Energy Centre’s, district energy distribution, piped site utilities for industrial liquid and gases will be an additional asset. The successful candidate will also be responsible for developing and maintaining new and existing clients, coordinating skill sets with other offices and disciplines, and satisfying customer requirements.
