Connect with a career that matters, and help us build a safer future. ## **Department Overview** The Senior Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for leading and executing complex mechanical engineering tasks across the product lifecycle, from new product introduction (NPI) to customer issue resolution (C3), continuous improvement programs (COS/MOL), and part change notification (PCN). This role requires a high degree of technical competence in mechanical design, testing, problem-solving, and project management. ## Job Description * **Design:** Create 3D CAD models, advanced surfaces, and compliant 2D drafting prints. * **Analyze:** Conduct mechanical tolerance analysis and DFMEA to ensure product reliability. * **Document:** Build and manage Bills of Materials (BOMs), engineering prints, and qualification reports. * **Test:** Support prototype builds, execute mechanical verification tests, and write test reports. * **Collaborate:** Work closely with cross-functional teams from concept stage to high-volume manufacturing. ## Basic Requirements * **Education:****** Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. * **Experience:** 3 to 5 years of mechanical design experience. * **Materials:** Strong knowledge of sheet metal and plastics. * **Processes:****** Familiar with assembly methods (SMT, ultrasonic/resistance welding, low-pressure molding). * **Skills:** Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to present technical concepts clearly. * Proficiency in Creo Parametric. * Knowledge of plastic injection tooling
