What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Masters Degree in a relevant mechanical engineering discipline, Chartered Engineer or Incorporated Engineer, or have completed an accredited training scheme and be working toward attaining Chartered status, Knowledge and experience of mechanical engineering systems of infrastructure and non-infrastructure works, understanding of E&IC systems, Knowledge of infrastructure projects, understanding of the integration of E&M systems in the overall construction project, Experience in design, tender and contract preparation, tender assessment, and contract administration, Good knowledge of relevant national and international E&M industry standards, Awareness of forms of contract, construction methodologies and E&M engineering procedures, Competent in the use of MS Office programmes and relevant bespoke software packages, Ability to develop competence in use of relevant programmes to suit specific role requirements, Good knowledge of best practice, current legislation and market awareness in specialist sector, Excellent problem solving and detailed design skills with ability to deliver practical solutions, Good interpersonal ability to communicate effectively to all levels both internally and with external clients, Excellent reporting/writing and presentation skills, Good standard of IT with working knowledge of Office products and applicable specialist software, Ability to respond quickly to changing circumstances whilst maintaining a clear view of overall priorities, Ability to work under pressure and ensure deadlines are met, whilst maintaining high quality output, Exceptional team working skills to be able to contribute to and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, capacity to work independently to a high standard, Results oriented with a proven ability to work to defined, agreed targets and priorities, Committed and enthusiastic with a high degree of integrity, Demonstrates willingness and flexibility of availability to meet business, able to organise and prioritise workload to ensure that timescales are met, Able to work on own initiative and seek assistance when required, Able to perform effectively within changing modifies own behavioural style to achieve results, Able to work collaboratively with colleagues, clients and contractors to form positive working relationships, Commitment to own personal development
