The Sr. Mechanical Engineer serves as a key technical contributor within the engineering team, responsible for the design and execution of bulk material handling projects. This role leads and supports mechanical engineering efforts across the full project lifecycle—from concept and basic design through detailed engineering, fabrication, installation, and commissioning. The position places a strong emphasis on conveyor systems and associated mechanical equipment, ensuring solutions are efficient, reliable, and aligned with project requirements, industry standards, and operational performance expectations. Job Responsibilities: * Perform mechanical engineering activities in accordance with sound engineering principles, project requirements, and applicable codes and standards * Develop and review mechanical calculations, equipment sizing, specifications, datasheets, and design documentation for material handling systems * Lead the mechanical design of conveyor systems, including belt conveyors, feeders, pulleys, drives, take-ups, and transfer points * Review and approve mechanical layouts and detailed drawings prepared by designers and drafters * Ensure all mechanical deliverables meet project scope, schedule, budget, quality, and safety requirements * Collaborate with clients, suppliers, and third-party engineering partners to support project execution * Evaluate supplier proposals, technical documentation, and drawings to ensure compliance with specifications * Support procurement, fabrication, pre-assembly, installation, and commissio
