Must Have
Experience of working within a highly regulated industry, Familiarity with ‘Design for Assembly’ within a nuclear facility, Ability to manage own workload, understanding of delivering mechanical designs in the nuclear sector, Experience in producing technical files (UK CA and machinery directive compliance), Knowledge of machining and fabrication manufacturing processes, Experience in producing and checking mechanical engineering calculations and deliverables, Skilled in liaising with key stakeholders and other design disciplines, Competent report writing skills, Comfortable working under time and cost constraints, Excellent communication skills
Nice to Have
preferably within the nuclear industry, minimum SC level
What You'll Do.
Deliver mechanical work scope
Produce and check mechanical work
Deliver detailed design work packs
Support design through all project phases
Guide Mechanical Designers and Engineers
Produce calculations to verify design
Compile technical files

Work closely with multi-discipline design team; Work closely with plant-based team; Liaising with key stakeholders; Liaising with other design disciplines; Communication with team members; Communication with the Client
