What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma in engineering, SC Clearance or ability to achieve it, Previous work in nuclear, thermal power, oil and gas, or other regulated sectors, Experienced with steam turbines, condensers, feedwater heaters, pumps, and piping systems, background in thermal power systems, with experience from FEED to detailed design and EPC delivery, Skilled in developing procurement specifications, Extensive technical experience in thermal power or similar projects, Excellent at engaging with internal and external stakeholders, Capable of identifying and managing critical interfaces on major projects, Proficient in UK Health and Safety regulations, safety systems, HAZOP, and engineering standards, Knowledgeable in ASME, European, and UK codes and standards, Professional in handling sensitive nuclear information

Ensure supplier deliverables meet requirements
Develop and review Process Flow Diagrams
Develop and review Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams
Develop and review Layout Drawings
Develop and review Sizing Calculations
Develop and review Datasheets
Develop and review Specifications
Lead and review optioneering studies
Lead and review Decision Record Files
Lead and review Design Descriptions
Lead and review Requirement Specifications
Develop and review Functional Requirements
Develop and review Design Requirements
Integrate Turbine Island design
Provide technical contact for Turbine Island interfaces
Support Design Reviews
Participate in HAZID/HAZOP studies
Liaise on nuclear safety licensing
Liaise on environmental planning/permitting
Adhere to statutory H&S policies
Adhere to project quality
Adhere to Quality Management System

Team & Collaboration
Work closely with multidisciplined teams; Collaborate with the supply chain; Engage with internal and external stakeholders; Participate in Design Reviews with multidisciplinary teams; Work with the safety team
