What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Previous work in nuclear, thermal power, oil and gas, or other regulated sectors, Experienced with steam turbines, condensers, feedwater heaters, pumps, and piping systems, background in thermal power systems, with experience from FEED to detailed design and EPC delivery, Skilled in developing procurement specifications and collaborating with equipment suppliers, Extensive technical experience in thermal power or similar projects, Excellent at engaging with internal and external stakeholders, Capable of identifying and managing critical interfaces on major projects, Proficient in UK Health and Safety regulations, safety systems, HAZOP, and engineering standards, Knowledgeable in ASME, European, and UK codes and standards, Bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma in engineering, SC Clearance or ability to achieve it

What You'll Do.
Ensure supplier deliverables meet requirements
Create and review Process Flow Diagrams
Create and review Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams
Create and review Layout Drawings
Conduct and review optioneering studies
Develop and review Functional Requirements
Develop and review Design Requirements
Integrate Turbine Island design
Serve as technical contact for interfaces
Participate in Design Reviews
Liaise on safety licensing
Adhere to H&S policies
Adhere to project quality
Adhere to Quality Management System

Team & Collaboration
Work closely with multidisciplined teams; Collaborate with the supply chain; Engage with internal and external stakeholders; Participate in Design Reviews with multidisciplinary teams; Work with the safety team
