Must Have
Background in nuclear, thermal power, oil and gas, or other highly regulated sectors, Experienced in fluid system design development, Proficient in roles covering FEED to detailed design and EPC delivery, Skilled in developing procurement specifications and collaborating with suppliers, Technical expertise in thermal power or similar projects, Excellent communication skills for engaging with stakeholders, Ability to identify and manage critical interfaces on major projects, Knowledgeable in UK Health and Safety regulations, safety systems, HAZOP, and engineering standards, Adhere to statutory H&S policies, project quality, and safety rules, SC Clearance or ability to achieve it

Lead Fluid System Development
Develop and review Process Flow Diagrams
Develop and review Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams
Develop and review Layout Drawings
Develop and review Component Sizing Calculations
Develop and review Datasheets
Develop and review Specifications
Lead and review optioneering studies
Develop and review Decision Record Files
Develop and review Design Descriptions
Develop and review Requirement Specifications
Develop and review Functional Requirements
Develop and review Design Requirements
Ensure fluid system design integrates seamlessly
Act as technical contact for interfaces
Participate in Design Reviews
Participate in HAZID studies
Participate in HAZOP studies
Collaborate with safety team on nuclear safety licensing
Collaborate on environmental planning/permitting
Adhere to H&S policies
Adhere to project quality rules
Adhere to safety rules
