About Us Rho is the modern banking platform built for startups. Open accounts in minutes, issue cards, manage expenses, pay bills, and close the books – all in one connected platform backed by real human support. ABOUT THE ROLE We're hiring a Senior Marketing Manager to own Rho's presence in Los Angeles: community, partnerships, brand, demand, and customer growth. You'll own a pipeline number, a real budget, and a tight partnership with our local sales rep. You'll be on the ground - meeting with investors, visiting customer offices, showing up where it matters. LA's founder ecosystem is one of the most diverse in the country. Defense and aerospace alongside consumer brands, media and entertainment, biotech, and a fast-growing tech layer underneath all of it. The founders building here span industries, backgrounds, and funding sources in ways that don't look like any other market. That's what makes it interesting - and what makes generic approaches fail. We have early traction. Now time to help us grow it. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Own the pipeline number. Sourced pipeline, startup customers, attribution in Salesforce. You set the targets and drive them through every motion you run. - Grow our LA customer count. Identify and close expansion opportunities within our existing base, run in-person touches with high-value accounts, and host customer-only gatherings that deepen relationships and surface new ones. - Partner with our LA sales rep. You generate demand and build relationships; together you close. Tight collaboration on targeting, follow-up, and account coverage. - Get out in the market. Meet with VCs, family offices, and accelerators. Visit customer offices. Show up at the right events. This is not a desk job. - Build founder community across sectors. Host the events founders actually want to attend - dinners and roundtables that bring together builders from defense, consumer, media, and tech. Curate every guest list.
