Your Responsibilities As Market Controller Switzerland (m/f/d), you will be responsible for statutory accounting and US GAAP accounting for Switzerland. In this key role, you will work closely with local and international Finance teams as well as other business functions to ensure compliance with all relevant legal, regulatory, and corporate requirements. Your responsibilities will include: * Leading the local controllership function, including the Principal Operating Company (POC), which comprises more than 30 country ledgers * Providing financial oversight and governance for the Swiss business * Ensuring accurate execution and reporting across: * US GAAP accounting and financial close processes * Accruals and provisions * Account reconciliations * Financial closing and consolidation activities * Overseeing Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, including invoice and payment processing as well as travel and expense management * Managing intercompany transactions and related reconciliations * Ensuring compliance with all applicable global, regional, and local policies, procedures, and governance requirements * Supporting and driving standardization and simplification initiatives across the Finance organization * Preparing quarterly and year-end reporting packages in line with corporate requirements * Maintaining responsibility for the internal control framework and SOX documentation while ensuring an effective control environment * Collaborating closely with the Group Controller and global and regional Centers of Excellence * Acting as the primary point of contact for internal audits, compliance reviews, SOX-related activities, and other audit engagements * Ensuring compliance with local statutory accounting requirements for Swiss legal entities * Managing statutory reporting, tax accounting, and audit processes * Serving as the main point of contact for external auditors, tax authorities, and external advisors A key success factor in this role is the effective coordinatio
