For you, working with us can mean deeper job satisfaction, better rewards, and a great quality of life inside and outside of work. **Job Title** : Senior Manufacturing Engineer (Sliding Head Lathe) **Reporting To:** Manufacturing Engineering Manager **Work Schedule:** Onsite – Tewkesbury, GBR Moog Commercial Aircraft Group is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Tewkesbury. This role is central to developing and delivering manufacturing processes for precision machined components across a range of materials. You will play a key part in New Product Introduction (NPI) programs, advising on Design for Manufacture (DfM), PPAP, GD&T, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. **Key Responsibilities** * Develop and implement lean manufacturing processes focused on quality, cost, and delivery. * Create machining processes for complex components with tight tolerances using CAD/CAM tools (Siemens NX or Partmaker preferred). * Select cutting tools, design fixtures, and produce shop documentation. * Support APQP activities including DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plans, and MSA studies. * Lead and support process improvement projects, ensuring minimal downtime in the machine shop. * Review engineering drawings for manufacturability and recommend design changes to enhance productivity and standardisation. * Provide technical support to Moog’s supply chain to ensure quality, cost, and delivery expectations are met. * Mentor and support Manufacturing Engineers and Technicians in tooling, gauging, and fixture design. **What We’re Looking For** * Degree or HNC/HND in Mechanical, Production, or Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent). * Extensive experience on star sliding head lathes * Significant experience in manufacturing/process engineering, ideally within aeros
