What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Minimum 15 years of relevant experience, Senior consultant in Quality Engineering, Banking, Financial Services, and Capital Markets domain experience, Extensive knowledge of testing processes, Proven experience collaborating with Business Analysts and Developers, Expertise in Quality Engineering for Agile and Waterfall, Demonstrated participation in test strategy development, Skilled in interpreting Requirement Specification documents, Developing comprehensive Test Plans and Test Cases, Proficient in defining and executing automation, testing, and QA processes, Experience with various testing approaches, tools, and techniques, Proven experience as a Test Manager, Robust technical background, Proficiency in SQL, Proficiency in mainframe, Proficiency in web applications, Proficiency in AI technologies, Experience in designing and executing test strategies, Experience in designing and executing test plans, Experience in designing and executing test cases, Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), Understanding of Agile methodologies, Understanding of CI/CD practices, Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
Nice to Have
Master’s degree preferred, Familiarity with AI frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch is an asset, Professional certifications in software testing are considered an asset, Professional certifications in AI are considered an asset

This role leverages professional expertise in leading and strategizing functional, automated, and AI-driven testing within the Commercial QA team, managing offshore deliverables, and overseeing project stakeholder communications. You will collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage. Key responsibilities include analyzing test results, identifying defects, and partnering with development teams to resolve issues. You will ensure adherence to quality standards, best practices, and industry regulations throughout the testing process, while continuously improving testing processes, tools, and techniques—including AI-powered solutions—to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. The role involves close collaboration with Executives, Technology teams, Business partners, and external vendors to assess business needs and apply appropriate testing methodologies.
