What They're Looking For.
Must Have
master's degree, 7+ years of experience in sustainability, environmental science, climate, nature, or a related field, solid knowledge of LCA methodology and product carbon footprint calculation, understand sustainability attributes, environmental product declarations, and certification processes, experience leading cross-functional projects in matrix organisations, Fluent English

What You'll Do.
Build and advance UPM Communication Paper's technical sustainability expertise across climate and other sustainability topics
Develop sustainability solutions and product concepts together with customers and commercial teams
Act as a key partner to Operations and Sourcing teams
Play a key role in driving life cycle assessments (LCAs) and developing the methodology behind product carbon footprint calculations and nature-related product attributes
Ensure compliance with relevant product-level regulations and certifications and internal capability building
Act as the primary product sustainability expert in customer conversations
Represent UPM Communication Paper as a thought leader in external events
