What They're Looking For.
Must Have
MS degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial engineering or a related engineering degree, or equivalent experience, 12+ overall years of quality engineering experience, 5+ years as a people manager, Extensive experience in large volume PCBA, tray and rack manufacturing for datacenter/server/networking/liquid cooled AI products (L6-L11) either as an OEM or as a CSP, Practical experience in the effective use of Quality core tools (eg 8D, 5-Why, 6S, FMEA, SPC, MSA, Six Sigma/Lean, MRB, QBR), Exemplary communication and proven problem solving skills, including data analytics, logical and statistical analysis, and oral presentation
Nice to Have
Experience with US-based compute system manufacturing supply chains
What You'll Do.
Lead a team of experienced quality engineers
Bring up and manage NVIDIA's manufacturing sites
Collaborate closely with manufacturing partners to ensure compliance with NVIDIA's unique Quality standards
Manage manufacturing partners Quality performance through audits
Quality critical metric management
Lead complex quality excursion management
and new site/supplier qualification
Cooperate with internal teams
customer quality as main factory quality interface
Develop quality management strategy
Identify risks in early product phase
Drive global Quality process harmonization and cross-function/cross-site initiatives
