What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience, Progressive procurement and sourcing experience, Significant experience in senior sourcing or procurement management roles, Commercial and financial acumen, Excellent negotiation skills, Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, Excellent influencing skills, Excellent relationship management skills, Experience leading, mentoring, and developing procurement teams, Understanding of UK procurement practices, Understanding of commercial governance, Understanding of compliance requirements, Ability to work flexibly and varying schedule
Nice to Have
Experience across multiple procurement categories, Experience working within public sector, regulated, or governance-driven environments, Familiarity with procurement policies and compliance frameworks, Experience using ERP and e-procurement systems, Knowledge of sustainability, ESG, and supply chain risk management principles, CIPS Level 5 or 6 (or equivalent), Membership of CIPS or another relevant professional body
