Must Have
Bachelor's or master's degree in science, 8+ years of experience in marketing, Oral and written English and Chinese communications skills, Good speaker and presenter in both English and Chinese languages, Microsoft Office software skills, Excel and PowerPoint skills, Ability to travel, minimum 30% in-country travel
Nice to Have
Experience with NGS sequencing technology, Knowledge about marketing databases, Knowledge about email marketing campaigns, Knowledge about social media advertising campaigns, Knowledge about display advertising campaigns, Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite applications, Experience in working with creative marketing agencies
What You'll Do.
Lead marketing strategy and execution for the territory
Oversee localization of marketing materials
Create localized content for print or web
Maintain close working relationship with sales and support
Ensure marketing activities align with commercial goals
Work closely with sales channel partners
Directly responsible for marketing function in China
Collaborate with channel
sales and market development teams
Achieve yearly revenue targets
Localize global initiatives for Korean market
Refine positioning of PacBio SMRT sequencing products
Generate compelling tools and content
Adapt global content to influence customers
Nurture reference sites and KOLs
Support local sales teams with training
Support product launches with campaigns
Create product-related campaigns and promotions
Convert messaging into brochures
and promotions using social media
Oversee conversion of web presence into Chinese language
Conduct market research
Communicate market and competitive intelligence
Track marketing events
Ensure expenditures are within budgetary scope
Generate marketing activity reports
Ensure commercial tactics and strategies are consistent with
Work with peers and stakeholders in thought leadership
Become advocate of HiFi technology
