Must Have
Bachelor's degree or equivalent, 10+ years freight forwarding experience, Significant leadership exposure, Deep, current knowledge of Japan's freight forwarding ecosystem, Established professional network with Japanese partners, Credibility to negotiate operating arrangements, Demonstrated experience designing or improving freight forwarding SOPs, Proven ability to hire, build, and develop operations teams, Native or near-native Japanese, Professional working Japanese, Comfortable representing Japan in global organization, Builder mindset, High integrity, Sense of ownership
Nice to Have
Prior experience leading country launch in Japan, Prior experience leading gateway opening in Japan, Prior experience leading insourcing transition in Japan, Experience with technology-enabled freight forwarding, Experience with platform-based freight forwarding
