Must Have
Over 12 years of relevant experience in life underwriting, at least 5 years in supervisory level, Excellent underwriting competency, PC literate in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word processing
Nice to Have
LOMA qualification preferred
What You'll Do.
Manage and monitor daily operations to ensure satisfactory services are delivered within turnaround time
Underwrite large amount and complex application and review suggest cases
Be the first port of call to resolve appeals and complaints
Ensure underwriting standards as per Audit Guidelines while meeting pricing assumptions of mortality and morbidity
Polish and enhance underwriting rules and guidelines to ensure both are reasonable and practical and in line with market practices
Keep track of competitors’ practices
provide recommendations and business cases to enable enhancement of existing guidelines
Streamline and enhance workflow and processes to ensure operational efficiency
Participate in product development and lead implementation from Underwriting
Conduct and arrange training to underwriters
Lead projects when required
