What They're Looking For.
Must Have
10+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 7 years focused on derivative instruments and hedge accounting under ASC 815 and IFRS 9. Proven experience managing and developing accounting teams. Demonstrated track record of designing and implementing process improvements. Comfortable managing multiple client engagements simultaneously. Strong communication skills, making complex accounting conclusions accessible to non-technical audiences.
Nice to Have
Advanced degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus. Experience with hedge accounting platforms (Ripple Treasury, Chatham Financial, Reval, FIS Quantum, or comparable TMS) is strongly preferred.
