What They're Looking For.
Must Have
7+ years of progressive EHS experience, leadership of EHS professionals, Experience in utility-scale renewable energy, power generation, or construction environments, Demonstrated expertise in regulatory compliance, incident investigation, risk management systems experience, leading multi-site or regional EHS programs, Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Nice to Have
CSP (Certified Safety Professional) strongly preferred, OSHA Authorized Trainer certification preferred
What You'll Do.
Develop and execute EHS strategy
and improve EHS programs
Manage leading and lagging performance indicators
Lead Management of Change processes
Establish performance expectations
Build organizational capability in hazard recognition
Serve as technical authority on EHS matters
Evaluate safety and environmental risks
Lead serious incident investigations
Review and approve high-risk work activities
Ensure full compliance with regulations
Oversee regulatory reporting
Establish governance systems
Interpret evolving regulations
Evaluate contractor safety performance
Define and govern EHS training strategy
Ensure personnel meet training requirements
Oversee development of technical training content
Oversee environmental compliance programs
Ensure proper permitting
Evaluate environmental risks
Partner with Operations leadership
Provide strategic and technical guidance
Support construction-to-operations transitions
Drive proactive safety culture
Analyze trends and implement improvements
Lead cross-functional initiatives
