What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related engineering discipline, Extensive experience with mission-critical facilities, Demonstrated experience managing engineering teams on international projects, Hands-on experience with power systems: UPS, diesel generators, switchgear, PDUs, and transfer switches, Hands-on experience with cooling systems: chillers, cooling towers, evaporative cooling, VFDs, and fan systems, Knowledge of Life Safety, IBC, NFPA, NEC, NESC, and OSHA, Direct experience with data center design, construction, operation, or maintenance, Proven ability to research, develop, and deploy innovative design solutions that reduce costs without compromising quality, reliability, or maintainability, Analytical and communication skills, with experience building complex business cases and presenting technical decisions to senior leadership
Nice to Have
Deep experience in data center or mission-critical facility design, Professional Engineering License or Master's degree in Engineering, Experience with high voltage distribution systems, Experience with chiller systems, cooling towers, and factory testing, Consultant and jurisdiction negotiation experience, Experience with large-scale technical operations or compute farms
