Must Have
7+ years of experience in Data Science, Analytics, Product Analytics, or a related quantitative field, Experience leading and developing high-performing teams, Expertise in experimentation, forecasting, statistical analysis, and product or business analytics, Advanced SQL skills, Proficiency with Python or similar analytical tools, Experience defining metrics, measurement frameworks, and analytical approaches, Demonstrated ability to partner with senior leaders, Demonstrated ability to influence strategy, Demonstrated ability to communicate complex findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences, Comfortable balancing strategic leadership with hands-on analytical work, Experience working with modern analytics platforms and data warehouses, Experience with Snowflake, Experience with dbt, Experience with product analytics tools

PhD preferred, Experience in B2B SaaS, PLG, or subscription-based businesses preferred

About the role Hi, my name is Michael, Head of Data and Analytics at Customer.io, and I’m looking for a Manager, Data Science & Analytics to lead and evolve Customer.io's internal data science & analytics function. This team serves as a strategic partner across Product, Marketing, Sales and Customer Experience organizations, helping the company make better decisions through forecasting, experimentation, behavioral analytics, and rigorous measurement. In this role, you'll lead a team responsible for delivering business value through the applied use of data. You'll partner closely with leaders across the company to guide decisions, define success metrics, improve customer and product experiences, and drive operational efficiencies. Success in this role requires strong leadership, analytical and technical rigor, and business acumen.
