Must Have
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field or equivalent education, training, or experience, At least seven years of experience in insurance underwriting or equivalent education, training, or experience

What You'll Do.
Lead and shape underwriting and pricing strategy to deliver profitable growth and portfolio performance
Partner with Actuarial
and Field Operations to turn market insights into practical guidelines
and products that help teams make risk selection and pricing decisions
Provide oversight and coaching to ensure underwriting quality and compliance
to support division goals and excellent customer experience
Collaborate with underwriting management in the establishment and execution of underwriting and pricing strategies
including analyzing business segment performance (profitability
retention and automation)
Ensure the integrity of the underwriting teams’ risk selection and pricing decisions
including Monitoring and assessing the effectiveness of underwriting guidelines
underwriting pricing tools
and pricing strategies and making recommendations for enhancements
Collaborate across company divisions to resolve underwriting issues
assess regulatory changes
and drive agreement on updates to underwriting policies and procedures
Partner with Regional offices to enhance the skills of underwriters and improve productivity
including making regional office visits to ensure working relationship between corporate and field underwriting staff
Be a technical resource to underwriting staff
