What They're Looking For.
Must Have
4–7 years in private equity, investment banking, transaction services, or corporate development at a sponsor-backed company, Demonstrated experience with complex transaction modeling and financial diligence, Advanced Excel modeling: three-statement, LBO, accretion/dilution, sources & uses, grasp of GAAP, adjusted EBITDA methodology, and quality-of-earnings concepts, Excellent written able to translate analysis into executive-ready, Willingness to work overlapping US Eastern hours during active transaction phases
Nice to Have
Exposure to B2B SaaS or data services targets, Prior experience supporting US-based sponsors or sponsor-backed corporates
What You'll Do.
Support and lead transaction execution across the deal lifecycle - from valuation and diligence through post-close performance tracking and analysis
Build and own valuation models including DCF
precedent transactions
Develop combined-entity P&L
and cashflow projections with appropriate normalization adjustments
coordinate with external advisors
and synthesize findings into actionable insights
Partner with the rest of the FP&A team on combined-entity P&L
and cash flow projections
identify one-time vs. recurring items
analyze working capital
and validate management adjustments
Model financing scenarios under various deal cases
Prepare materials for senior leadership review on strategic opportunities
Partner with the full FP&A team on integration performance tracking and reporting
Support reporting requirement as neededs
