Full Job Description
## Accountabilities Develop and execute a strategic business development plan to build a strong pipeline and achieve revenue and growth targets. Identify, research, and engage key decision-makers across target industries including sustainability, procurement, and operations functions. Drive outbound and inbound sales activities through high-volume outreach including email, phone, events, and industry conferences. Qualify and manage leads effectively, ensuring accurate tracking, prioritization, and conversion opportunities within CRM systems. Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients, understanding their needs and aligning tailored sustainability solutions. Negotiate pricing, contracts, and partnership agreements in collaboration with internal stakeholders. Monitor industry trends and competitive activity to identify new business opportunities and market expansion areas. Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to support proposal development, client onboarding, and solution delivery. Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and reporting to support business planning and performance tracking. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience. 7+ years of experience in senior sales or business development roles with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding targets. 5+ years of experience in waste management, recycling, sustainability, or related environmental industries is highly desirable. Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles and negotiate high-value commercial agreements. Strong understanding of CRM systems (experience with SAP is an asset). Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong presentation ability. Highly developed critical thinking, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.
