Full Job Description
## Accountabilities Develop and support advocacy communication strategies and campaigns aligned with organizational priorities and global public-interest initiatives. Create clear, persuasive, and audience-focused narratives that translate complex policy and technical topics into accessible messaging for diverse stakeholders. Ensure consistency and effectiveness of advocacy communications across different regions, cultures, languages, and governance environments. Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored communication approaches for policymakers, regulators, civil society organizations, media, academic institutions, and other key audiences. Support media engagement efforts by preparing messaging frameworks, briefing materials, talking points, and spokesperson guidance. Identify opportunities for proactive media outreach, thought leadership, commentary placement, and broader public engagement across regional and international channels. Contribute to rapid-response communication activities related to policy, regulatory, or governance developments impacting strategic priorities. Develop and maintain communication resources such as campaign toolkits, message frameworks, narrative guides, and response materials. Partner closely with policy, advocacy, and communications colleagues to ensure coordinated and effective messaging across initiatives. Help strengthen organizational readiness to respond quickly, credibly, and strategically to evolving global and regional issues. Requirements 7–10 years of experience in advocacy communications, strategic communications, public affairs, campaign communications, or related fields. Proven experience communicating with advocacy audiences including policymakers, regulators, civil society organizations, think tanks, media, academic communities, or similar stakeholder groups. Strong background in public-interest initiatives, digital policy, technology policy, Internet governance, civil society, or related sectors. Demonstrated
