Full Job Description

## Accountabilities Support the development and execution of global and regional advocacy communications strategies, ensuring alignment with broader organizational priorities and policy goals. Craft clear, compelling narratives that translate complex policy and technical concepts into accessible messaging for policymakers, regulators, civil society, academia, and media audiences. Design and adapt advocacy campaigns for different regional, cultural, and political contexts while maintaining consistency of core messaging. Contribute to media engagement efforts, including press materials, talking points, spokesperson preparation, and proactive outreach to international and regional media. Support rapid-response communications for emerging policy, regulatory, or geopolitical developments impacting the Internet ecosystem. Develop messaging frameworks, campaign toolkits, and communications assets that enable scalable and coordinated advocacy efforts across regions. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment between policy positions and external communications, strengthening unified global messaging. Requirements The ideal candidate brings 7–10 years of experience in advocacy communications, strategic communications, or campaign communications, ideally across multi-country or regional contexts. You should have experience engaging advocacy audiences such as policymakers, regulators, civil society organizations, think tanks, media, and academic stakeholders. A strong background in civil society, digital rights, Internet governance, technology policy, or related public-interest fields is highly valued. Strong policy fluency with the ability to interpret complex issues and translate them into effective, audience-specific messaging. Proven experience in media engagement, including drafting press materials, shaping narratives, and supporting spokesperson readiness.
