About the Role Wunderkind is seeking a Senior Manager of Accounting to serve as a cornerstone of the Finance translate accounting activity into clear explanations of business drivers Actively seek out and implement AI tools and automation to eliminate manual effort — without compromising internal controls or accuracy Redesign spreadsheet-based workflows for speed and scalability; build and maintain process documentation suitable for audit and SOX-equivalent review Support interim and year-end audit processes; maintain audit-ready documentation across all owned areas at all times Assist in managing 1–2 accounting professionals and review their work; provide technical coaching, work product review, and ongoing development feedback Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting 4+ years of accounting experience, including public accounting (Big 4 preferred) or a mix of public and industry experience Strong technical accounting knowledge, including revenue recognition (ASC 606), IUS (ASC 350-40), and leases (ASC 842) Experience preparing r
