What They're Looking For.
Must Have
7+ years of progressive accounting and/or finance experience, 4+ years managing direct reports in an accounting or finance function, Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field, Demonstrated experience with acquisition integrations, purchase accounting, or financial consolidations (ASC 805), Proficiency with an ERP system
Nice to Have
CPA or equivalent strongly preferred, Lease accounting experience is considered an asset, NetSuite experience is a plus
What You'll Do.
Lead acquisition integrations and purchase accounting in accordance with ASC 805
and year-end close cycle
ensuring accuracy and timeliness across all accounting entries and reconciliations
Prepare and review monthly
and annual financial statements
including investor reporting where applicable
Maintain and continuously improve the general ledger system and financial record-keeping infrastructure
Manage and develop a team of three direct reports
setting clear expectations and supporting their professional growth
Partner with external auditors on the annual audit
serving as the primary internal point of contact
Research and resolve accounting issues to ensure ongoing compliance with GAAP
