Must Have
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience, 7-10 years of development experience, 5 years major gift officer experience, Proven track record of soliciting and closing six-, and seven-figure gifts
What You'll Do.
Manage identification
Develop and implement cultivation and solicitation strategy
Cultivate and solicit donors through personal communications
Become content expert for GBH productions
Function as lead fundraiser for associated funds
Stay abreast of funding opportunities
Collaborate on fundraising strategy for content areas
Establish and meet dollar and visit goals
Grow donors' annual fund giving
Prepare solicitation strategies
Prepare meeting briefings
Prepare written proposals
Prepare letters of gratitude
Prepare impact reports
Record and track all activity using GBH’s CRM
Attend development department meetings
Attend foundation-wide meetings
Work with events team to plan donor events
Work with production team to plan donor events
Work with unit leadership to plan donor events
Work with volunteer hosts to plan donor events
Collaborate with team members to foster positive culture
Contribute toward overall growth of GBH
